Our response to COVID-19 pandemic

The current circumstances surrounding COVID-19 have had a widespread impact on everyone, and we appreciate that arts and cultural organisations will be particularly affected in the coming weeks and months.

As a part of Nesta, Arts & Culture Finance is committed to supporting Nesta’s response to the pandemic, which makes clear that we will stand by our grantees and investees, take a flexible approach, and work with other funders to ensure that the wider sector is supported. As a social impact investor specifically, the Arts & Culture Finance team encourages organisations to take a proactive approach to identifying challenges, particularly with regard to existing loan obligations, and to speak to us regarding pinch points. We are keen to work closely with all of our portfolio organisations to support them as best as we can.

Arts & Culture Finance has also signed the response coordinated by the wider social impact investment industry committing us to taking a flexible approach in this difficult period – you can read more about this on the Good Finance blog. We will be providing updates as we develop further plans to support the sector with our industry partners.

We encourage organisations to visit the Good Finance COVID-19 Resource Hub which contains helpful information, resources and tools designed to support charities and social enterprises navigating the pandemic.
