Investment Associate, Arts & Culture Impact Fund
James works in the Arts & Culture Finance team as an Investment Associate for the Arts & Culture Impact Fund.
Prior to Nesta, James worked for the Department for Culture, Media and Sport as a Senior Policy Advisor for the Culture Recovery Fund, helping to manage over £250m loaned during the pandemic to some of the most significant cultural organisations in the country. Before this, James worked as Communications and Engagement Lead for the Government Finance Function, where he helped connect over 10,000 finance workers across government, as well as General Manager for Camden People’s Theatre, where he was responsible for project managing the artistic programme while leading on the operations, administration, marketing and financial management of the organisation.
James is currently studying for the CIMA Certificate in Business Accounting and has an MA and BA in Theatre Arts from Middlesex University. In his spare time James can be found around a snooker table or in front of a dart board.
