Nick is the Impact Manager for the Cultural Impact Development Fund, a social investment fund providing small-scale lending to arts and culture organisations across England.

Nick is the Impact Manager for the Cultural Impact Development Fund, a social investment fund providing small-scale lending to arts and culture organisations across England.

He is responsible for the fund’s overall approach to social impact and works with applicants and investees to build their capacity for monitoring and evaluation so they can better articulate their impact to funders, policymakers, and the public.

Prior to Nesta, Nick was the Research & Evaluation Manager at Youth Music, a national charity investing in music-making projects for children and young people experiencing barriers to participation. He also chaired London Funders Research and Evaluation Network, supporting practice sharing, innovation and learning between funders across London.

Nick graduated from the University of Edinburgh with a BSc in Physics and MSc in Sound Design. He continues to be active across a diverse range of creative enterprises as a musician, composer and interactive developer.
